Uckermark

Rest and relaxation in nature at any time of the year.
In the northeast of Brandenburg, just over an hour from Berlin, in the direct vicinity of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Poland, lies the Uckermark. At 3,077 km², it is one of the largest counties in Germany. However, since only 118,947 people live here, it is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Germany - the best conditions for rest and relaxation in nature at any time of the year.

Already since 2010, the travel region Uckermark is engaged in sustainable tourism development. For this purpose, there is a partner network of particularly sustainable businesses, a close exchange with the protected areas of the region and a variety of activities and measures to communicate these offers. The travel region has set out to become more sustainable and to bring other partners along with it from the vision of Uckermark tourism.
