Ruppiner Seenland

In love with lakes
In love with lakes? Ruppiner Seenland in northern Brandenburg is one of Germany's most popular water sports areas: around 2,000 kilometres of connected waterways and more than 300 lakes offer holidaymakers pleasure on, in and around the water. Dense forests, flowering fields and heath landscapes, fragrant fruit trees and resting crane families fascinate nature adventurers as well as those seeking recreation - on foot, horseback or on a bicycle.

In this region with its castles, manor houses and towns such as Rheinsberg, Neuruppin, Gransee or Oranienburg, Brandenburg-Prussian history is palpable and Fontane's literary heritage can be experienced: an enchanting cultural backdrop.

The Ruppiner Seenland presents itself with "Barnimer Land", "Wassertourismus Initiative Nordbrandenburg" and "Mecklenburgische Seenplatte" on the "Mecklenburgische und Brandenburgische Seenplatte" stand.
