Dahme-Seenland
Experience water. Close to Berlin
With its meandering ribbon, the river Dahme connects the edge of the pulsating capital Berlin in the north with the natural south. On quiet banks, framed by spicy-smelling pine forests, relaxation can be found on foot and by bike. Where the river fans out into countless lakes, water sports enthusiasts have undreamed-of possibilities.
Places steeped in history are waiting to be discovered. Königs Wusterhausen is the cradle of German broadcasting and is also inextricably linked with the Prussian king known as the "Soldier King". Mittenwalde still exudes medieval flair and proudly bears the name Paul-Gerhardt-Stadt in memory of the great German hymn writer of the 17th century. A jaunt offers the opportunity to discover regional delicacies. The Dahmeländer Stulle combines the best products from regional producers.
