Journalist, Blogger & Photographer, freiseindesign
Since her earliest childhood Friederike Franze has loved to explore the world. What once began with muddy hiking boots and a colourful scout neckerchief has developed into a vocation. And so the 36-year-old journalist and photographer loves to write about her travels and all the extraordinary encounters, lasting impressions & lingering thought-provoking impulses they bring with them. For 10 years, she has been earning her living as a freelance blogger.
But what looks like a dream come true from the outside also has its dark sides. Friederike's own relationship to travel and discovery in particular has changed in recent years. Because also topics such as nature conservation & climate change, as well as a sustainable & healthy lifestyle are driving the busy woman. This means thinking outside the box, and in doing so it is also important to make uncomfortable decisions and to learn from what she has experienced - and to communicate this process to her own readers, business partners and herself.
If you want to get into conversation with Friederike, don't miss her participation in the talk "Bin ich ein schlechter Mensch, nur weil ich in den Urlaub fliege?" with Franziska Wessel from the organisation "Fridays for Future" and Oliver Lackmann, Managing Director and pilot at Tui fly.
