Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH

From Berlin to the world
So far, Berlin Airports Schönefeld and Tegel have linked the capital region with over 140 destinations worldwide. Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) will also open in October 2020.

Berlin’s airports Schönefeld and Tegel connect the capital region with 148 destinations in 55 countries. With 34.7 million passengers in the year 2018, Berlin is the third largest airport location in Germany. The new Airport Berlin Brandenburg – BER for short – will open in October 2020, with air traffic being focussed to Schönefeld. Those interested can get to know BER in advance already: For its test operation, the airport is looking for 20,000 extras in order to test all processes at the new airport.

Giving Back

It is of the utmost importance to us that we promote and support the positive development of the airport region. In 2018, the “Umlandarbeit” department supported 232 projects in the airport region, e.g. the Blankenfelde cycling club, the Eichwalde choir society and the Altglienicke CABUWAZI.
