Wolfgang Strasdas

Head of the Master's program in Sustainable Tourism Management at the HNEE
Wolfgang Strasdas studied landscape planning and has been a professor for sustainable tourism at the Hochschule für Nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde since 2002, where he heads the Master's program in Sustainable Tourism Management and the Research Centre for Sustainable Tourism.

His work focuses on tourism and climate change, nature tourism, tourism in development cooperation, corporate responsibility and sustainability accounting.

He is a member of several academic advisory boards and juries, including the sustainability initiative Futouris, the sector dialogue of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development with the tourism industry and the jury for the sustainability award "Ecotrophea" of the German Travel Association.
