Friedrich W. Niemann, a veteran in the hotel industry, is founder and CEO of MCH – Hotels, a young Berlin based company, dedicated to development and operation of owned, leased and managed hotels as well as consulting and advising hotel companies, -owners and -operators.
Mr. Niemann holds a BA of Heilbronn University and Northeastern University, Boston, as well as an Executive MBA of Reims Business School. Apart from various leading roles in German luxury hotels, Mr. Niemann managed Hilton Hotels in Southeastern Europe for several years and opened Europe‘s firstly new build Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin in 2013. He founded MCH in 2015.

Adding to his broad experience in the hospitality sector, Mr. Niemann publishes regularly in Germany‘s hospitality media; he is a lecturer at Munich University on ‚Applied strategic Hospitality Management’ and member of the advisory boards of IHA (International Hotel Association) and UdW (Union der Wirtschaft).
