WWF Deutschland

Together for a living planet
WWF Germany is part of the global World Wide Fund For Nature network. Founded in Switzerland in 1961, in Germany in 1963, WWF is one of the world’s most significant, independent conservation organizations. WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by close to 5 million members globally. Primary goal is to stop the global destruction of nature and to protect biodiversity by creating a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.

To achieve this, the protection of the rainforests is of particular importance. In Ecuador, we work with indigenous communities to protect the Amazon rainforest. How? With sustainable cocoa farming that works with the forest instead of against it. Visit our booth to learn more about the unique diversity of the Amazon rainforest.
